      කවියා බලා සිටින්නෙකි නිසොල්මන්ව විසිකොට බෝම්බයක් පිරිස්   මැදට මානන්නෙකි තුවක්කුවක්   ත්‍රි පාදය මත තැබූ ඉලක්කයකට සසර ඉම තෙක්   ඉහත උපුටා දක්වා ඇත්තේ සාමය , යුක්තිය සහ සමානාත්මතාවයේ වර්ධනයට අහිතකර ඒවා තුරන් කරමින් සමාජය නිවැරදි කිරීමේදී කලාකරුවෙකුගේ භූමිකාව නිරීක්‍ෂණය කරන ලක්දාස   වික්‍රමසිංහගේ කවියකින් කොටසකි .   පොරොන්දු දේශයක් අපේක්ෂා කරමින් අප විසින් තෝරාගෙන ඇති පාලකයින්ගේ කාර්යභාරය නැවත සලකා බැලීමට කාලය පැමිණ තිබේ . මංමුලා සහගත පුරවැසියන් වන අපට අවසානයේදී ලැබුණේ කලකිරීමක් . එක් වරක් , දෙවරක් හෝ තුන් වරක් නොවේ. ලොකුම ඛේදවාචකය නම් අප පාවා දෙන අයව දිගින් දිගටම අපව පාලනය කිරීම සඳහා තෝරා ගැනීමයි. දේවත්වයට නැංවීමය . ගැලවුම් කරුවන් ලෙස සලකා වන්දනාමාන කිරීම ය . අපේ නොදැනුවත්කම , අන්ධ භක්තිය අවිචාරවත් බව අගතිය අපේ නොදැනුවත්කම නිසාම මෙම පිසාචයන් සාන්තුවරයන් ලෙස උසස් කරමු. මෙම පාලකයින්ගේ මෝඩකම කෲරත්වය ,   කුහකකම සහ නරුමත්වය ලොව පුරා හෙළිදරව් කිරීම රටේ යහපැවැත්මට ප්‍රාර්ථනා කරන බුද්ධිමත් පුරවැසියන්ගේ ප්‍රධාන යුතුකමකි...

  ෂොට් එකක් දාගන්න සූස්තියක් ඇදගන්න සෙට් වෙන බොක්කෙක් මරන්නට හිතෙන පිස්සුවක් නේද යුද්ධය . ඉහත උපුටා දැක්වීම තෝමස් හාඩි විසින් “ ඔහු මරා දැමූ මිනිසා ” වෙතින් උපුටා ගැනීමකි.   ජීවත්වීමට වත්කමක් නොමැතිකම නිසාම අනාගතය අවිනිශ්චිත හා අඳුරු පුද්ගලයන් දෙදෙනෙක් , කුලී හේවායින් ලෙස   යුද පෙරමුණටඑක්වෙති . යුධ පෙරමුණට එක්වන විට ඔවුන් දෙදෙනාම පළිගැනීමෙන් හෝ දේශපේ‍්‍රමී හැඟීමකින් යුධ පෙරමුණට එක්වූවෝ නොවෙති. දෙදෙනා කඳවුරු දෙකකට අනුයුක්තව සේවය කරයි ඔවුන්ගෙන් එක් කෙනෙක් අවසානයේදී ඔහුගේ   සගයෙකු හා සහෘදයකු   සතුරෙකු ලෙස සලකා   මරා දමයි. . යුද්ධයේ ඛේදවාචකය මෙයින් ඉස්මතු වන අතර , යුද්ධය යනු එ තමන්ගේ සගයෙකු හා සහෘදයකු කිසිදු හේතුවක් නොමැතිව මරා දැමීමට පොලඹවන කුරිරු දෙයකි ලෝකයේ ඕනෑම ජාතියක් මෙන් අපටත් සටන් ඉතිහාසයක් ඇත , ඔබට එය කුරුස යුද්ධ , ජනවාර්ගික කැරලි , සිවිල් යුද්ධ , කැරලි හෝ ශුද්ධ යුද්ධ ලෙස හැඳින්විය හැකිය. කිසිදු යුද්ධයක් , එය කුමක් වුවත් , ප්‍රචණ්ඩත්වයෙන් නිදහස් නොවේ. 1971 දී ජේවීපී ක්‍රියාකාරීන් විසින් දියත් කරන ලද කැරැල්ල මම කුඩා කාලයේ දුටුව...

  කාබනික පොහොර හා ආහාර සුරක්ෂිතභාවය     කොරෝනා වසංගතය මිනිස් ජීවිත වලට කළ බලපෑම ට සමාන බලපෑමක් විවිධ රටවල ආර්ථික දේහයන්ට ද   සිදුකර ඇත . මේ කරණ කොටගෙන විවිධ රටවල් තුළ මූල්‍ය අර්බුද නිර්මාණය විය . ලංකාවට ද මෙය ඉතා දැඩි සේ බලපෑ බව රහසක් නොවේ . එම අර්බුදය කළමනාකරණය කර ගැනීමේ ලා විවිධ රටවල් විවිධ පිළිවෙත් අනුගමනය කරයි . තෝරාගත් භාණ්ඩ මත ආනයන සීමා පැනවීම ශ්‍රී ලංකා රජය ගත් එක් පියවරකි .   මෙබඳු ආනයන සීමාවන් පළමු වරට ශ්‍රී ලංකාව තුළ අත් දකින්නේ 197 0 ගණන් වල ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස් පක්ෂ රජය පැවති කාලයේදීය .   එම ආනයන සීමා පැනවීමේ පරමාර්ථය වූයේ   කාලානුරූපව ඇතිවූ මූල්‍ය   අර්බුදයකින් ගොඩ ඒමට   ගත් තාවකාලික පිළියමක් ලෙස නොවේ . ස්වයංපෝෂිත වූ   ආර්ථිකයක් ගොඩනැංවීමේ බලාපොරොත්තුවෙනි .     රජය භාණ්ඩ වර්ග එකසිය පනස් හයකට පමණ ආනයන සීමා පැනවීය . ඒ අතර අත්‍යවශ්‍ය භාණ්ඩ වන සීනි පිටි හා සහල් ද විය . පසුව මෙම භාණ්ඩ මත පැනවූ ආනයන සීමා ඉවත් කලද   භාණ්ඩ ප්‍රවාහනය කිරීම සඳහා , විශේෂයෙන් කිරි වැනි දේ ප්‍රවාහනය හා බෙදා   හැරීම සඳහ...
